A bit of background: I'm a modern viewer. I'm in my early twenties as of writing this, growing up primarily in the 00s (ages 9-19, oh dear). Thus, most of my taste in anime was shaped by titles from this era. I never wholly encountered older TV titles until later. Thus, I'm fairly lacking in titles that I have actually seen from the 90's. I have seen some of the classics (Revolutionary Girl Utena/The Adolescence of Utena, Neon Genesis Evangelion/The End of Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Perfect Blue, Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso, Cardcaptor Sakura), but it bothers me that an entire era of anime has swept right by me without me giving it a second glance. So, to better understand my hobby a bit more, I'm going to be setting up a viewing queue of 90's anime that I might not have watched or have not watched in a very long time.
